The
Earl E. Knox Company was founded in 1930 and has grown steadily
to become one of the best known and respected names in the compressor
business. Their vast experience in rebuilding reciprocating
compressors led to the formation of the Knox Western Division
in 1973 as a manufacturer of horizontal reciprocating compressors.
Knox Western is a designer, manufacturer, and packager of the
compressor and are able to offer single source reliability.
All manufacturing is done at various plants in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Erie also serves as the company headquarters with sales offices

produced for natural gas gathering applications, their compressor
line has grown to include 4 throw frames rated for 1400 HP.
and 30,000 pound rod loads. Their compressor line is now used
in such varied services as hydrogen processes, industrial oxygen,
gas seperation, high pressure air boost, and feul gas boosting.
This varied experience enables Knox Western to provide the premier
compressor for vehicle feuling stations. With over 200 natural
gas vehicle feuling stations world wide using Knox Western compressors,
we offer the most reliable and efficient C.N.G. compressor in
